Planes were made to fly. To be admired with the blue sky in the background, gaining speed on a runway or on the final approach for landing. However they cannot fly forever, at some point a few specimens are collected to museum hangars, to be admired by those who have never had the pleasure of sharing their company in service.
In this project I tried to shot these caged birds, looking for the beauty of the harsh lights that enter through the hangar windows and highlight the textures and brightness of the fuselage. The counterpoint of the past of flights through the open sky and the confined space of the hangars, in which their wings almost touch each order.
Os aviões foram feitos para voar. Para serem admirados com o céu azul ao fundo, ganhando velocidade em uma pista ou na aproximação final para o pouso. No entanto, eles não podem voar para sempre; em algum momento, alguns exemplares são recolhidos aos hangares dos museus, para serem admirados por aqueles que não tiveram o prazer de tê-los como companheiros em seu tempo de serviço.
Neste projeto, tentei fotografar esses pássaros enjaulados, buscando a beleza das luzes fortes que entram pelas janelas do hangar e realçam as texturas e o brilho da fuselagem. O contraponto entre o passado dos voos pelo céu aberto e o espaço confinado dos hangares, onde suas asas quase se tocam.
